Starlings Sturnidae

There are 25 genera within this family, of which 2 are thus far listed below. Of the 109 currently recognized species, two are critically endangered, two are endangered, four are vulnerable and another nine species are near-threatened. Starlings are found in the Old World, but several species have been successfully introduced to North America.
