Strepera

There are 3 species within this genus.

Pied Currawongs Strepera graculina are found throughout eastern Australia from northern Queensland, south to Victoria. They are absent from Tasmania. They have a noisy and distinctive ringing "curra-wong" call. This adult was photographed at Katoomba, Blue Mountains National Park, New South Wales, Australia.
