Bananaquit Coerebidae
The Bananaquit is the only member of the family. They are a familiar resident of the New World tropics. Their diet consists of nectar, fruits and insects.
Coereba
Bananaquits Coereba flaveola occur in Mexico and the West Indies, south to
Bolivia and northern Argentina. Casual visitors from the Bahamas occasionally show up in southern Florida.
