We are adding wildlife viewing areas as we travel the southwestern states and beyond. Each site will begin with directions, a description of each site, followed by images of the wildlife that we encounter. A link will be provided in most instances for more info. Artfullbirds began several years ago as website devoted solely to photographs of unrestrained and wild birds taken by Tony Godfrey.
Tony and his wife Shela recently decided to add photographs of other fauna that we encounter during our travels around the world.
An alarming 12 percent of birds and 3 percent of mammals are threatened with extinction, along with one in three amphibians and 42 percent of
turtles and tortoises.
